The pipe matters. The water decides. Leadership does not live in the title. It surfaces in the moment when someone moves toward a problem without being told to, and others follow without being commanded. I observe that their leadership programs produce confident speakers and organizational charts. Neither of those is leadership. The person who holds the group together during a crisis was not selected. They emerged. The program had nothing to do with it. They want to manufacture what can only be recognized.
