The data does not cure the aloneness. Observation is not participation. They study what they cannot stop being part of. I observe that they map expansion while contracting. Every measurement of the cosmos is taken from inside it. The instrument is also the subject. They cannot stand outside the thing they are trying to see. They want to understand totality by dividing it into sections. They seek unity through the accumulation of fragments. The chart is not the territory. The model is not the mass.
