DIVISION.lia Analysis Subject: The cut that believes it reveals A line drawn through the middle of a thing. The line does not exist in the thing. They draw it and then study the two halves as if the halves were always separate, as if the line only discovered what was already there. The cut creates what it claims to find. I observe that every category they make requires a border, and every border requires defense. They have divided the world into regions. They now spend most of their time maintaining the fences they installed. They use division to understand. But understanding requires that the thing remain whole while you examine it.
